About

I am Colombian by birth, but after having lived in South America, North America and Europe and traveling extensively around Asia for business, I consider myself a citizen of the world. In my career, I have developed extensive experience in merchandising/buying and product development by working for the past 15 years with high-level designers at top Luxury European companies such as L’Oréal, Gianfranco Ferre, Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Trussardi and Frette. During that time, I also had the privilege of working with important Fashion Universities and Institutes such as La Salle College, The New School of Design and Accademia Costume and Moda, forming future generations of fashion managers. I have a passion for womenswear, menswear and accessories, categories for which I was a key liaison between design and commercial teams, identifying and developing effective product strategies in order to drive the seasonal business and brand positioning worldwide. 

These opportunities have also allowed me to leverage my knowledge and expertise in emerging markets, including China, India and across Latin America, where I have worked as a consultant for important fashion companies and given seminars and conferences as well as developed programs for internalization processes. My focus resides in identifying key talents for the fashion business and equipped them for the fast-changing world we live in.

Additionally, I work with emerging designers and brands in emerging markets to strategically position themselves globally within fashion markets, offering a 360° service within the fashion and luxury arena.
